Run the London Marathon for Independent Age
Arguably the best marathon in the world, the London Marathon is back for 2025! With its iconic London route, incredible atmosphere and now record-breaking title as the world’s biggest annual one-day fundraising event, it’s the perfect event to run to support Independent Age, and help end poverty in later life.

How will we support you?
You’ll receive fantastic support from our friendly team from the moment you sign up until you cross that finish line. We’ll provide you with:
- An Independent Age technical running vest to wear on race day.
- A well-deserved certificate, totalling the amazing amount you raise for us
- Fundraising and training support from our dedicated Events Officer
- Cheer points and support along the route.

I have my own place
If you already have your own place in the London Marathon, we’d love to have you on the team! You’ll receive all the same support as our charity place runners.
